Desert Canyon Golf Resort is a Resort 18 hole golf course located in Orondo, Washington.

Desert Canyon Golf Resort opened for play in 1993. The course was designed by Jack Frei and Rick Fehr.

Par for the course is 72. From the back tees the course plays to 7217 yards. From the forward tees the course measures 4939 yards. The longest hole on the course is # 6, a par-5 that plays to 679 yards. The shortest hole on the course is # 7, a par-3 that plays to 135 yards from the back tees.

Watch out for # 6, a 679 yard par-5 challenge and the #1 handicap hole on the course. The easiest hole at Desert Canyon is # 13, a 163 yard par-3.

We live overlooking the 4th hole so I guess I am prejudiced in favor of this course. I first played here in 1996 and liked it so much decided to live here if I could afford it. The course had problems in the past but is now owned by people that have a long range view and are making improvements every year. This is a great course with great views. The lodge on the property make it ideal for a "stay and play" vacation.

First time player at Desert Canyon. I found the course to be terrific! (and in incredible condition) We played from the tips and it was all we could handle.

You need better directions to tees for first time players. We wasted at least 20 minutes the first go around figuring out where the tee boxes were. Overall a fantastic course with beautiful views. Staff worked very hard to give us a great rate for 36 holes. Thanks to Kaitlin (sp) 17 July
